Supply Chain – Communication update regarding the Modern Salary Act 2015.
Bearmach Ltd’s supply chain is committed to meeting the aims of the Modern Slavery Act 2015. We strongly oppose slavery and human trafficking in our supply chains in any part of our business.
We pride ourselves in the quality of our product and part of that quality is ensuring that our high standards are upheld throughout our supply chain. We would never knowingly engage with suppliers or contractors involved in slavery or human trafficking.
Under the Modern Slavery Act, which came in force in October 2015, Bearmach is required to take appropriate steps to ensure that its suppliers and/or contractors are not engaged in slavery and/or human tracking within or outside of the UK.
We make every effort when visiting and communicating with our suppliers to ensure they are compliant with these regulations.
If any supplier and/or contractors are found to be in breach of these regulations, then Bearmach would take the necessary steps to highlight this to the relevant authorities.
