The Range Rover Evoque is a smaller luxury SUV sold since 2011. It is available in three and five door, two wheel drive and four wheel drive models. It is the most environmentally friendly of all Land Rover models, and is marketed to urban inhabitants. While being a smaller more luxury vehicle, it still boasts some impressive off road capabilities.

The Evoque is replete with a number of modern motoring innovations - the vehicles are biofuel compatible, and can use super light weight components such as carbon composite roof panels. It also uses the stop start system, which makes it more efficient and convenient, especially in traffic.

A lightweight design of approx 1600kg the Evoque’s bodywork is more reminiscent of road vehicles than off road models, but it maintains excellent off-road capabilities, and is able to ford through up to almost 20 inches of water, boasting substantial clearance.

The Evoque has a state of the art in-car infotainment system, which allows front and back screens to display two different sources simultaneously. Up to five cameras can be fitted on the exterior to give full peripheral views, and eliminate blind-spots for when undertaking maneuvers.

To date the Evoque has sold more than 90,000 units, with many surprised that such an urban and high end vehicle maintains such top rate off road performance. Land Rover has also received praise for producing such an environmentally friendly vehicle.
